Gladiator v. Athlete.
A gladiator is man trained to fight with weapons against other men or wild animals in
arenas. Gladiators had to be quick,strong and intelligent. Also gladiators were usually volunteers that was looking for fame in the colosseum. And in some cases others were enslaved and forced to fight for entertainment. Also those chosen to be slaved were treated good except for when entering battle. As for their rights, they were still slaves, and used for entertainment. However on the other hand professional athletes are people can be men or women who are chosen to play on professional teams. Athletes are great professionals also athlete qualities requires them to show determination, discipline, focus, aggressiveness, commitment and love for the sport. Also you have to be physically fit, intelligent, and quick in some cases jus like a gladiator. Males and females who become professional athletes begin training at a young age in some cases. Also you’re usually not forced or enslaved to participate in these professional careers. However some people just become athletes for the fame and the money if they natural talent theres no love or other athletic qualities for the sport.References
